Yes a 1 inch cut on the wetsaw, and a 1mm piece of porcelain in the eye....OUCH.

i'll definitely be wearing safety glasses all the time now.

did the same myself last year phil
and it was only scoring and snapping ceramics, glaze fractured while scoring and i got 3 tiny slivers in my eye.
i always wear me goggles now.

You guys need to really if you can't see you can't tile. And for a couple of quid, it's just not worth it. Low risk perhaps, but high consequences.

Apparently the best ones are the style with sides too, ie goggles not specs as they give your eyes much more protection from all angles.

Mine are on me at all times so no excuses here. eye looks sore, glad it looks worse than it is, could have been worse, could have been me..... ;-)
