I know two brothers who bought T17 ERS and T11ERS and
Just looked at what's available. You can get T111 ER X and T111 ER V both for £249 from the DVLA.

And T11 ERS is available (so it looks like my old mate upgraded his van and never transfered it or something). That's now £3500.

T11ers is for sale for sale at the mo i have T1LCR which can easly be changed to say TILER with the screw placement i am thinking about selling too if any one intrested but bear in mind T1LER sold for £110,000 so sensible offers. Thanks. ps sorry to hi jake the thread.

I stumbled across this site recently after 'googling' my number plate and found it mentioned on this thread.
I own T11 ERS (I believe Dan, you must have got a little mixed up with another plate and somebody else perhaps???)

I am considering selling my plate for the right price.

Cant say my plate has ever proven any disfavour to me in anyway.
It's always been a talking point with people coming up to me mentioning it, then asking for my card when they didnt even realise they needed any tiling work.. :lol:

1 letter, 2 numbers, and three letters. Are STILL only worth £249 from DVLA directly. I wouldn't ever pay more than £249 for a plate using that format as a result.

Though cherished plates are worth what they are to the buyer and that's what these newreg type websites play on.

I'd checkout the DVLA database before buying any plate above £249.

Remember they're an asset to your business then and can increase in value too.

The owner of the plates I was talking about was Jason or Ashley Wells of Wells Tiling in Stoke on Trent. I think it might have been something close to what I was talking about though, and perhaps not the exact letters. I'm sure they both had them at one stage too.
