6 weeks? I very much doubt it. I may be wrong but as I understand it you are looking more like 3 to 6 months at least.

To obtain an NVQ you need to have an assessor come out to you and assess you working through an entire job. I think it may even be two or more jobs.

Either that or go to college for a year or so. Some do NVQ's in Tiling.
