Hi Rempy,

With regards to your NVQ it does not have to be paid work in order for you to gather evidence for your portfolio, for instance it can be a job for a family member or friend or even a project in your own home that you get assessed on. It just has to be in a real situation not simulated conditions.

Unfortunately if you are considering migrating to Australia as a skilled Wall & Floor Tiler you will need to have 4 years provable experience behind you in order to undertake an RPL skilled assessment to gain your AQF III.
