Offset preformed shower tray

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

Can anyone help with our dilemma. We have purchased and fitted a sureform wet room shower tray. It is 1100 by 770 the drain is off set. Which on purchasing did not take into account the problem it was going to cause. We are still to tank and lay the underfloor heating. We thought we would dry lay our tiles to see how we wanted to lay them out. Now this is we're are problem starts the fall lines do not line up to the edge of the adjustable drain/grate. Do we have to go with the fall lines or can we be out by a few mm? I'm worried it will look odd if there is no summitry? Also the fall does not start from the edge of the tray it falls from about 50mm in on all four sides, does this mean we have to cut a 50mm pice of tile to go round the outside? Thank you in advance

Can you show a pic of your tray and drain.
