old friends

sat here with an old mate not seen for ages just a thought old friends are always there?

I think so mate yes. I moved house when I was a kid a couple of times, and as a result moved schools, both primary and then high school later. Got friends from all the schools that I still speak to. Not often, but I do, and when I see them out we always have a quick beer or coffee even if we're in a rush.

Got a mate who taught me play the guitar during school years who's been in a couple of bands and I go see him every now and again when I can. Top player he is.

Facebook helps too as you can keep up with reunions and whatnot on there. Always good to meet the people you don't keep in touch with but still remember.
