Removing some old plaster from a ceiling/wall in a bathroom and saw an old newspaper, grabbed it and it was very fragile but took some photos....19th December 1939

that's an old one, oldest I found was 1962..

I found a News of the World in an attic, was from the day I was born,all headlines were about JFK assassination.

funny you posted this mark,i stripped an old lathe ceiling this week and found a ripped front page of edinburgh evenign news 1883 couldnt beleive it it was readable as well

Bet you had to treat it with kid gloves, sooooo fragile.

it was super dry mark,,small brush removed the dirt and was readable i couldnt beleive the date lol
