Good luck to West Ham - as a Spurs fan I didnt want to go to the OS at first, but the designs that came about were amazing. However, the media got onto the fact that we wanted to pull down the stadium and like a dog with a bone, wouldnt leave it alone - the "no land fill / waste / recycling" comment was ignored. The bid revolved around the running track and as West Ham said they will keep it, they must be made to do so.
I now hope we move on and redevelop the site north of WHL.
As for the OS - West Ham will need to try and keep a stadium with no atmosphere and crap views full to pay off the costs - and they wont do that in the Championship
Doug is right - we need to focus on other sports rather than just football
And Gooner Dave - what is the atmosphere like at your new place? Especially after we scored our third goal there last year???
