One coat plaster

Hi everyone patched up a wall with one coat plaster 2day, will it be ok to start tiling on 2morrow or will it need longer to dry out.

Is the one coat fast set..? and how deep is it..?

It didn't actually say it was fast setting on the bag so i doubt it was although it was solid by the time i left after around an hour and a half. It is the patching/one coat plaster from Wickes. It dries white. The window reveals were the only deep parts maybe 25mm max but not the full reveals just one spot on each. the rest was just a skim onto bonding. Could of use rapid on them bits but seeing as tho i had mixed a fair bit up i just used the one coat.

If it's the wickes one then it is fine...

Used the same stuff myself on a few occasions.............you HAVE to mix it a bit slacker and then leave it for 5-10 mins.

If you mix it to the right consistancy straight off.............it thickens up after 10 mins and your then fighting with it.

Yeah it did stiffen up quite quickly CJ. I will note your advice for next time tho! Cheers
