I use Weber but I get it from CTD & the trade counters shut today.

Stick with Mapei & you will be fine not sure on which addy though as I hardly ever use it,

Primer G is good.

Prime floor & prime top of hardie,

You don't have to prime Hardie but I always do, you can rub it with a wet cloth.

Cool, thanks. Do i need to prime both sides of the hardie backer for the floor then?

Neither. Wipe over with a damp cloth or sponge to remove dust instead. You can prime if you want, it really won't harm. I do both all-depending on if I have some left in the roller tray at the time or not!
Prime floor before hardi as Bri said though

I phoned helen street and they have both 6mm and 12mm in stock. So might take a trip up.
