ah the joys of finishing a job and just firing everything in the back, to sort out another day! can anyone spot the sigma? photo (6).jpg

Tut tut. You need to get some shelving in that van. That way, there's a place for everything and everything in its place. Takes 10 min to put everything back. Most mess I've every got is maybe the odd muck bucket with adhesive it in but best to let it harden to knock it out the next day

I had to use the wifes car for work on Friday chucked a few tools on the back seat in a gorilla tub did not notice my wet cutter guide sticking up made a deep scratch on the side paint work driving home I was thinking what to tell her and was visualizing her face she was none to happy.

Working out of a smaller vehicle for the past number of years has taught me how to make use of space....the downside was turning up to jobs without a piece of equipment that would make life easier.
The times I have loaded up after finishing the larger contracts and half way through thinking to myself it will need 2 trips to do it.
I dont think it matters what size van you have, you will always fill it with stuff.

I would love to think i was an organised shelf-van man but i just 'am not ! i work from a van thats always in organised chaos too.......

Is shelving really the answer though ? They can take up space too and can only hold certain size items .
Food for though whether to have any in my van or not !!!!

Didn't matter how much i tidy my van, tools and up falling everywhere, need more racking, few months agomy Marshalltown permashap got caught in side door and snapped... 50 quid down!!!... Ragin!

I got a new van last Wednesday, defo gonna shelve it out, lots of upper wasted space when everythings just on the floor. Will build a wall behind the seats to hide powertools and shelve out from that

Racking/shelving is defo the best option. Gets everything off the floor, you know when something is missing & makes use of the height. Make your shelving suit your items

I think I may go with just the racking over wheel arch on one side. Trying to think what I would actually put in those pigeon holes or shelves.
