Outside Steps

Just been out today to quote a job and it's for laying natural quarried slate from Topps and it's in the outdoor paving section. I have never done outside paving slabs like this before so was just wondering if normal tile adhesive and grout suitable for outdoor would be ok for fixing these. Normal adhesive? i assume you mean cement based. P9 and Keraflex are both suitable for outdoor use. MAPEI Have a look here for specs.

Yeah I mean a cement based adhesive. I've only ever used Mapei grouts so I'm not familier with the adhesives but will go and look at the website. Thanks
