Outside tiling

Hi All,
I want to tile an outside terrace. It’s a new house and the finish is concrete that’s reasonably flat with a few ripples. I am intending to use a good layer of tile cement to overcome this. I live in France so temperatures do drop quite low, -16 last winter. I have enquired at the local French builders merchants and have been advised that Weber Col Flex is material to use.
Any advice as to how to avoid any classic mistakes would be most appreciated.

One area is 5.76m x 1.48 = 8 sqm and another is 5m x 1.2m = 6 sqm

Do it in the warm weather so to avoid any freezing but would take the advise of the locals who know the conditions your'll be working to...

what grout you use will make the difference in sealing the tile joints once laid to keep the weather out

mix 3 cemment to one silver sand should do the trick
