Outstanding debt letter

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I'm having a problem customer at the mo (non payment) and recall someone putting a link for a sample letter on the forum a couple of weeks ago but, I can't for the life of me find it or remember who put it up. Thanks in advance Bri

I remember it, too, just checked in my subsrcibed threads but couldn't find, if I do I'll post it... I put small claims in the search box, but maybe try debt letter, sample letter, that sort of thing?

Thanks G. I've had a good look round and can't find it. Hopefully someone will remember, or I'll have to resort to sending round the goons! :lol:

I'd send the goons round with the letter, then get them to wait for the cheque to be written or escort them to the cash machine.

Hope you get it sorted soon. Non payers without a valid reason are thieving scum IMO.

This one is particularly annoying as I have given them alot of (free) advice and done them a top job, they even sent me an e-mail the day after I'd finished to say how happy they were and that a cheque was in the post. Now they are ignoring all my attempts at communication. He is a weasly little dweeb and would fill his pants if I sent some of my mates round, so I thought I'd give them one last chance by means of a stern letter.

Couldn't agree more. I'm a very placid person, but I take it very personally when people try this sort of tactic. I consider it to be theft and theives are scum. If you walked out of a shop without paying for something you would be arrested, why is it not the same for non-payment of a service?

I woke up in a foul mood this morning and decided 'Mr I cant be bothered to pay', was top of my hit list for the day. Went out to the house and was very pleasant to him when he answered the door, and to my surprise he asked me in! He then told me how pleased he and his wife were with their new heated floor and that they has forgot to post the cheque (really). He then produced a cheque and said that he would call me later in the year when they were doing the bathroom! What a complete and utter..............................! I'll wait and see if the cheque is a good 'un. So thanks for the replies folks, on this occasion I won't be needing a letter but no doubt it'll come in handy in the future
