If you use a trowel alot then the teeth edges will be sharp..as you in theory are sharpening them against the substrate...

it was a trowel i got with a ardex kit i think. was cleaning it with a washing up brush me wife got me, went off the side of the trowel and got four quite deep slices on me thumb knuckle from the notches. bloody hurts. my legs went wobbly when i done it.

no lauging matter dave felt sick, went white, the works. a bit of blood i nearly faint.

Often nick my hands on the sharpened notches on the trowels.

My secret santa to myself is a few new trowels

I went over my thumb with my exact saw whilst cutting some wood a few months back. It kicked back across the thumb knuckle and luckily bounced of the bone wivout going through.
