PC Clean up try it

Last week i manged to pick up a Trojan Called Security toolbar 7.1(STB) i picked this up from downloading ad-aware(prob not the right 1).Did a scan with my own security but didn't get rid of it.My laptop was running slow as well so i set about trying to find out how to get rid of this Trojan.

Took my laptop to PC World for a health check,useless never take it their!

This link is to the thread i was involved in,it told me to install 3 programs(ATF Cleaner,Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware)which installed through their link takes you to the correct programs.These programs would check my laptop and get rid of the above Trojan.I was a bit apprehensive about installing new programs but the Admin assured me i wouldn't end up way any viruses or spy ware with lease programs or anything from their forum.

Anyway installed these 3 programs last night and used them,all in it found 45 objects that had to be removed and they were this STB the Ad-Aware i had installed and uninstalled.

My computer is running faster and i now have 3 programs to run when ever i want.

I found the above forum very helpful to get my computer back on track without it i was lost.So anyone experiencing problems with their computer or it's just running slow take a visit to it and use the 3 programs it recommends(check for compatability think the ATF Cleaner is for Windows XP only ask 1st) or ask for help it will be given.It also has other useful advice about checking files and removing them as i did.I removed files that i thought i already had but they were hiding in other places.

Sorry for the lengthy post just wanted to give some back ground info on my experience.
