Do you have a favourite tile type? From a fitting point of view which do you enjoy most and also on a personal level, do you like a modern polished porcelain or a traditional stone?

I must go with geometrics Bri, so rewarding for me, but any class tile will do.

Got to say, I'm a stone man. Nice quality silver travertine would be my number 1.

I like working with porcelanosa tiles, but on a personal taste I prefer any natural stone.

200 x 250 ceramic white tiles on flat plasterboard walls to large areas and 330 x 330 ceramic floor tiles to flat screeded conservatory floors

I like Porcelanosa, quality is always spot on (Not mosaics! Don't go there.) The rectified are always a challenge to get spot on, but if I wanted an easy life I'd go stacking shelves! :lol:

Same as gary for me.

Probably foot square ceramic floor tiles that are not bowed, tiled to a snooker table style flat conservatory floor. With rapid set. And normal grout. And for a person who appreciates a cup of tea. Normally right near the kitchen too so you'd clock when they put the kettle on and start coughing a bit complaining "it's getting a bit dry in here".

Used to love selling underfloor heating as I always used to get new conservatories and always used SLC so always ended up tiling perfectly flat floors and used to make a nice screw while doing it too.

Loved the early finishes, the few hours early while waiting for the SLC to set, then tile it, then go back and grout it and finish early again.

I like the geometrics too but prefer Natural Stone , a satisfying job either way

I like chiseled edge stone tiles and like limestone flags especialy the ones me and a friend fitted once, they looked that great infact that some chancer tried to enter job of the month with pics of them! (and then pretended to have installed oak flooring too):lol:

Some people really will try anything, that's nearly as bad as stealing pics for a website.
