Pipes in the way!!

Someone maybe familar with this one.

An old bath is removed leaving the hot and cold exposed running along the bottom of the wall. The tiles above the (now removed) bath have been dabbed on and to fill in the exposed gap below with tiles would literally bury the pipes underneath as they are so tight to the wall.

Obviously you can't bury the pipes behind the tiles and I can't box it in as a shower screen has to go there.

Any ideas??

Any reason why the pipes cant be sunk into the wall?.....dave..

No reason, I just thought you wouldn't be allowed to do that.

you can sink the pipes into the wall no probs....tile with a flexible adhesive and use flexible grout aswell....dont apply heat through pipes until all is set.....dave...
