Hi peeps is it ok to tile over exposed pipes.in the customers bathroom there's plaster board but the pipes for the water are not flush with the plaster board not much but it kicks the tile,is it ok to tile over this

You really want the tiles to kick out!
Have you discussed this feature with the customer and are they happy to pay you for such a work of art. :lol:

No I don't want them kicking,I want to know if its ok to tile over the water pipes,coz the pipes aren't flush with the wall

R the pipes protruding from the wall face preventing the tiles from
bedding flush ?

TJ has answered your question, the pipes arn't flush so the tiles will kick out no two ways about it......

I would box in the pipes and tile the pipe boxing.

How far out are they sticking? Grind back of tile, use thicker bed, move pipe if possible, box in.

Get who every put the pipes in to come back and put it right ..... Now for a rant why ask such a question you know the finish will not be right as the tiles kick out you fix it before you tile or get the plumber back to fix it before you tile or you are leaving a REMOVED job
