hi lads
im just starting out in my tiling career,my first job was couple of walls in a bathroom,my next job is a full bathroom i was wondering what is the best plan in removing the toilet and sink in regards to getting them out ,tiling the area and putting them back in, would you plan on doing this in one day? so the customer wouldnt be without water and a toilet.if you u removed them first thing in the morning and put tiles on with rapid set addy would they be ready for grouting and drilling late afternoon.
thanks for any help

yes you ban use rapid set for that wall and grout later in the day,go easy drilling, only move to hammer action when through the tile and you should be fine......welcome to the forum and good luck with full bathroom

I dont remove anything, i get a plumber to to it, my insurance wont cover me if it leaks and causes damage, chech your insurance out before doing it.

i would do the toilet area first with rapid set like you said... then as soon as it sets... put the toilet back on ...at least your customer has the toilet then ....🙂

The important thing is to get the toilet back in on the same day, you cannot leave the customer without a toilet, the sink is not so important as they should have one in the kitchen.
