Thanks for all your great advice. Will go in and look at one over the weekend  I think 50 60 quid is a hell of a lot for a blade but if it needed then fair enough.

I used the Master tiler for a few years, now use the Vitrex for certain things the DeWALT can't do:thumbsup:

:yikes::yikes: Did I read that right, something the DeWalt can't do!!!! surely you must be using it wrong!!!

Hang on have I just set myself up here 😕 this thing the DeWalt can't do, that wouldn't be splash water all over you on a hot summers day would it?

I've got a Vitrex 750 and I've put a Faithfull sintered blade on it, it has a 16mm bore conversion for the Vitrex 750. It cost me about £20 for the blade, it's sintered and cuts EVERYTHING neatly as the blade is quite thin, but it hasn't shown any signs of wearing, since it was fitted last october, and it's done lots of porcelain and stone :thumbsup:, the cutter is also very robust desoite how it looks :thumbsup: You can get the blade via ebay on the following link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Faithfull-FAIDB180CR-Diamond-Tile-Saw-Blade-%d8-180mm_W0QQitemZ110415880370QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=&rvr_id=&cguid=fbef82551290a0aad2b6f376febff7e7

I'm really buying into this Vitrex 750 cutter now and ain't even seen one in the flesh yet ! I've been reading about a cutter called a Briccolina ( not the wine ), look it up as it sits in a bath like tray so when the water needs changing you just lift it out and chuck the water. Which cutter to buy, my head is imploding ! :yikes:
