Plastic-ply tile backer

Has anyone used this, I seen it on vista tiling for £10.50 for 1.2m2, its self adhesive, can be cut with scissors, comes in 600x500mm sections and claims it can be stuck straight onto floating chipboard floors etc. This would cut down on lugging 8x4 sheets of ply around. Is it to could to be true?

Can't see how it adds strength to a timber floor never mind a floating floor..:yikes:

I have used this once on 22mm floor boards, it is very sticky and fast to lay, I have posted about it before, it sticks to the floor very well and to your jeans if you kneel on it.
it also has a very good wright up on it and i believe n&c nicobond won an award for it as well.
But i personally would not use it to try and stop deflection or to stiffen up anything especially a floating floor imo.

cant see as it is any different to using a tipped trowel with fast flex. stupidly used on a 40 m2 floating floor and still having grief with grout cracking. fine on small upstairs chipboard floors mind you. would only use dukkaboard to reinforce from now on!
