Plastic trim

i get nice right angled thin flat metal trim in pewter or brushed aluminium for around £7 at ceramic tyle warehouse and they look great when cut round windows etc. have just finished job with large format porcelain and framed door as customer took architrave off and also framed window and little recess in showere wall for shampoo gel etc. plastic trims have there place though. i prefer any tim to no trim unless tile edge is glazed

Hi newbie here, I am about to tile my bathroom walls in white to window board level finishing with a black tile border , I was going to use a black trim as the borders are not glazed on the sides but having read the above posts what are my alternatives . First serious tiling project would hate it if it looked tacky it would drive me mad.

i wouldn't risk mitering on your first job you would be better with trim

Black trim with white grout - even if cut to perfection it'll look
Unless you're using black grout for the border bit then it might look
