Yes it is Grumpy,
Stevie the keyboard player at the moment is emigrating and I've played in various bands with some of the other guys over the years so now stepping in to take over when he goes.

You a Macfloyd fan mate,?
You could be the Grumpy Groupie:lol:
Saw them in Elgin a couple of years a go. They were really good, not seen them advertised up here since.

Will find out if theres any gigs up your way mate and get you a couple of freebies.

Wasn't a huge fan of floyd till I got this job and had to learn the stuff. Some of it is very impressive, while others are an aquired taste.:whatchutalkingabout

Looking forward to it tho as the venues this year are big and the guys in the band are sound.

Right the wife has told me i need to get a hobby, as all i seem to do is work and i have always fancied playing the drums, so i have just contacted a guy near me about lessons and I'm having a free taster lesson next week. Does anybody else on here play the drums :drummer: ...I know alot of you are on the fiddle...
i thought this site was your hobby as your always on here, how do you fit your tiling in with it????

When asked by a journalist, "do you think Ringo is one of the best drummers in the world"?........John Lennon replied " he isn't even the best drummer in the band" !!

I used to play the drums, but sold them last year when my daughter was born!
In fact if you are really interested you can see my old band on youtube.
If any of you know an Aand R man who might like us, then pass on my details, as we could always make a comeback.........................stop dreaming Ian!

Cheers,
Mark

I live in the sticks, got a big shed in the garden, so hopefully the neighbours i do have wont hear to much... I might have a few more lessons before i rush out and buy a kit. Its £25 per hour for lessons.
