Pleading for help?

Hi all, I am trying to help out a large dog/cat rescue and have been asked if I could tile out there new kennels (about) 150 square Mtrs
the PROBLEM as usual they are not awash with money.

I am asking for your help to locate obsolete or end of line porcelain floor tiles.

May be a better idea if you stated the separate areas, I doubt anyone would have 150m2 of one tile to donate or even sell at cost.

If it's a registered charity there are Tax allowances I think for this sort of thing, so if they bought from manufacturer directly stating they just need end of line production stuff at a low price, they could get the costs or part of the costs back. Possibly?

I'd speak to BCT, Johnsons, Pilks - those sorts of firms who have factories over here. See what they can do.

i think dan ,s advice is spot on, and i think it would prob be better if the rescue centre appeal directly to one of the above tile suppliers

Thanks for the advice it is just a kennel that takes on waifs and strays abandoned and abused yes I am doing it for free
I have spoken to them and they are just a husband and wife who started about 20 years ago and are not a registered
charity, It does not matter if the tiles are all the same size or pattern or colour though they would have to be smooth faced

Have you tried talking to some big tile suppliers local to you, topps, tile giant etc. see if you can get a write up in the paper about the shelter, mentioning your free labour and the free tiles. Free advertising for you, the supplier and the shelter. everybody wins
