Well thats it.........I've had it with plumbers.

Job I have on the go...........almost finished.

Big old barn conversion.........5-6 bedrooms.

I have tiled 2 big en-suites, one with underfloor heating. (mat) Also downstairs loo and hallway, both with underfloor heating (Piped)

The woman of the house is my ideal woman :)drool5:) she loves DIY and loves shopping for tools and the like.......rather than clothes

Anyway, she was telling me that the plumber has been a nightmare and broke a £900 glass shower screen.....then took the frame away to try to get reglazed....then naffed off on a 3 month hiking holiday instead. On his return he has washed his hands on the whole job.

They got another plumber who checked as much as he could the guys work.....and turned on water to a new part of the conversion............water pee-ed out all over the place and has now been condemmed.......and the whole lot needs ripping out.

Newly plastered ceilings have to come down, oak flooring has to come up, etc etc. Not sure if any of my work will have to be ripped out or not.......but parts were not finished as it was awaiting plumber to finish parts off before I could

The lady of the house has told me a cheque was put in the post for me last Thursday......not got that yet

I don't think they will try it on with me...........I hope. Nearly £1200 I am waiting for. Was due there most of next week to finish off.........Not now.:thumbsdown:

Plumber was recommended by the builder..........BOTH have gone to ground. BOTH are getting their Ar55ed sued.

Moan over :mad2:

Just move house instead mate, much easier, missus wanted a new bathroom putting in, new kitchen units, new fence at front, fence at back painting, decking, etc etc etc.......

I went down to the development we looked at last year and did a deal on a new house, part exing ours, much easier than going through the list of jobs she gave me, it would have taken about two months, at least moving will only take me a weekend :lol:
