Got a call from a customer last night that i finished a job for last week. Told me the plumber was there and couldn't fit the shower as one of the holes i had drilled around the pipes was in the wrong place. Apologised to her and said as soon as i finish tomorrow (as in today) i will be around and sort it out for her, told her to tell the plumber to mark where he needs it if possible. Got there before and took a look, "here he has marked it" i am telling no lies when i say 2mm needed to come off the right side of the hole. Got my file and it was done within 5 seconds. Wanted to really say something but i know the plumber is her uncle.
"sorry to call you back for that, my uncle wanted to do it but was afraid he would damage the tile" the clown.
Thought to myself, "calm down maybe he didn't have the tools to sort it out"
So i said to the woman "here keep hold of this file and if anymore needs to come off your uncle can just file it"
No it's ok he had a file but like i said he didn't want to damage anything
