Ply On Ply ????

Just quoted on a kitchen floor that at the moment has laminate down. Guy wants it lifted and tiled. Removed enought to check whats underneath and there is already 9mm ply scewed to t&g flooring. Question is can I glue and screw another 9mm board on top of this to give the required support or would it be better just ripping it out and redoing with 18mm.:whatchutalkingabout

If its a small floor and you can feel NO movement.............you could tile using something like Bal fast flex

Or overlay with 6mm hardibacker and tile with Single part Flex

Either way........use flexi grout as well
