job is domestic low usage shower room that has been plyed out in wbp.Its well fixed-no flex

It will be tanked,tiles are ceramic.

what sticky would you go with?

Mix tiny batches, just smaller than what you can do in the open time of the adhesive. Clean the bucket in between batches though, coz otherwise you'll end up having to work faster and faster :rofl:

drive 30 mins there just to apd some ply.......i dont know.was considering white star straight on merely for time.

If you are tanking it. WHY? prime............just straight on with the flexi mate..........

You normally don't need to prime waterproofed surfaces. Not when using standard solutions anyways. You might need to prime before applying the WPC though. Read the instructions on the bag/tub if you're unsure.

Yeah, that precisely the reason why you need to read the specs on the products you use Though products from different manufacturers may have more or less identical funtion, the way they're designed might differ in important ways.

Some WPCs are primer free, some are not. Same goes for adhesives.
Many waterproofing systems need joint tape, whereas some need mesh scrim.
Some SLCs require you water them and cover them while they're curing, but most do not, and so on and so forth.

Always read the specs. You won't regret it, and you'll learn more about your trade as well.

I had the same thing in a job in london a couple of weeks ago mate. Tanked with ardex s-1-k used ardex x7g plus addy.

I made it a rule to prime any ply I was tiling to. It does no harm and takes seconds and then you can never be wrong IMO
