plywood walls

Sometimes you have just got to grin & bear it & do the job even though you know it's not right.
I get it on a regular basis with a certain company I work for & I tell them how it should be done but they don't listen half the time but at the end of the day I'm subbied to them & it's not my name against the job.

You have explained why he shouldn't be doing it so i think i would just get on and tank it or homelux it and get the thing tiled and i wouldn't lose any sleep about it mate. I done a bathroom about a month ago using the homelux matting system, seemed fine and so far aint herd anything back (yeah i know its only a month but no news is good news in these cases lol)

I regularly tile to ply with a few builders. Sealfix joints, prime, tank, s1 adhesive with a back skim. It's still possible to complete a successful tiling job onto ply if it's done right.

If you're going to apply a couple of mm of a WPC why cant you glue and screw 4mm marmox?
There will be room on tbe edge of the tray, around the bath and it shouldnt effect any pipework.

I wouldn't be happy doing it but if I really really had to then I'd use the Ardex kit as I've used nothing else for a couple of years now and have total confidence in it. I can also pretend I'm a plasterer whilst doing it as I trowel it on (Can be rolled). It also doubles up as a great waxing kit if it sets on your hands/arms!!
