Well just an idea but PJC . I have used one on a couple of patios and it cut the labour time on pointing by two thirds. There is a video on the site. I will be the first to admit that there is a technique required, and the secret is to mix the mortar right. But if you can get it right then it is good. Be happy to help to advise if needed. Just a thought. 150m though? Rather you than me!!

I use a easy point gun from screwfix , we fill it with an empty 1ltr milk plastic bottle with half the bottom cut off. Works a treat, but if useing sand and cement you need to add some feb mix and whisk well. Tap the barrel empty before reloading. I used to repoint loads in a past life and find the gun great for grouting large tiles.
Thank mate but it's all I do nowadays it does work yes but have specialist guns nowadays you would not believe how quick they are compared with the rest but keep it to myself as my main competitors copy me and try to undercut me everywhere I go

i was taught by and old school builder years ago how to do tuck pointing this decades before patent mortar injection devices thin mortar joints were tackled with thin jointing tools some probably 5mm wide the tools were flat blades with a wooden handle it takes patience but results look good
Yes I have seen it and the tools been looking at them it the states this week

HI pj i just clicked on your bri-it thing, and looked at your web-site, then i looked at your area wickam, i come from Oxon. & was working over wester turville the other day, there is quite a fashion over that way for re-clamed/rustic brickwork, so do you buy old bricks and cut them down yourselves ,on your tile- cutter ? ,i had a mate years ago go round cladding houses, until they messed up, it look great in the fireplaces, are you stacked-out ? didn't you used to employ loads of eastern-europeans a while back ?
