It is not a case of the right job for the right person.. you need to find out if the pool can be emptied and why this has happened.. simple as that really.. there is always a reason for a failure and if it has failed 4 yrs after the last rectification then imo there is a problem..

hey dave the pool can be emptied and the repairs were done right ,the pool does not leak in any way or so i have been told ,and from looking it looks like the real probs is at the water line and above , tiles falling off everywhere ,but who can i talk to about this ,or can i get someone whos doing pools all the time to come and have a look and give a price
i dont think its as bad as you all think , but then hey ,something i have never done yet

well hopefully TT can get a local member with pool experiance to help him out :thumbsup:

Me I've only tiled about 10 or so pools and had nothing to do with their construction so cant give advice on this one.
im sure that on the tiling of the pool ,i could do ,take my time , like you said the construction side of things ,im not to sure about , we can all plaster ,but thats where i need the advice on making good as theres all ways going to be ,
i will try gooner
but dont know anyone down here

the pools i tiled where all in spain and of a concrete with render construction.

I can tell you that plaster has no place in a pool.

get some good advice from a pro pool construction company in your area and try to secure the tiling element of the work.



As Spanish, plaster and pools have nothing in common, either concrete then render, then adhesive fix, or floated coat method. Deffo no plaster.:thumbsup:
