My Henry vacuum has gone to the great hoovering place in the sky. I do have a wet n dry back up but its not as good for dry as a henry !

I thought I'd killed mine the other week, turns out I gave him sunstroke and he overheated, left him to cool down overnight and he was right as rain the next day! Long live Henry!

mine went to Henry Heaven when it fell out of sliding doors on transit courtesy van I had when my pick up got mashed. I found Henry on roadside by hospital but emergency services couldn't resuscitate

I got a Karcher from screwfix reduced from £80.00 to £49.99 probably won't last as long as the Henry but time will tell, and I refuse to get drawn into any oo-er mrs. carry on innuendos:lol:

Is yours the old style one button Henry or the new Hi/Lo switch? The Hi/Lo switches get a bit sticky and can give bother but it's possible to bypass the speed control and have the on off switch running direct to full power and that sorts it out.

Henrys take some abuse. The amount of broken Dysons I've seen in customer's houses is scary.

My Numatic is just on off but the misuses Henry has the hi-low switch. Not had any probs with it....but she hardly hoovers! Lol

I'm the same as phil, I have a karcher at the mo. I do like Henry's though. Will get a Henry again when my karcher dies
