Far as I can tell, the builder is reimbursing my cost for materials and I think he's only paying back the money the client paid to have it laid by them. So any additional is being stood by the client.
I think, can't be certain tho.
By right they should be compensated for the hassle of it all as well.

When you quote must pay attention at the cost of tiles.
I quote for fit 3000x1200 porcel thin last year,I see the job, bathroom in a flat near to London Eye,6Th floor, tiles not delivered yet.The day when start I find the tiles outside, the delivery man wait me to pick them up.Never quote for pick up the tiles 6 floors on to intricate stairs and the first tile we try to go up was broken and we pay 534£ for have one more to complete the job.
''Hi Edward,

Please see attached the amount for the tile that was broken. We are
getting the tile to County Hall on Monday morning so it will be in the
flat for you to install on Saturday 17th.

Honestly can't buy extra tiles especially if is book match, witch one need to buy?.Also, you need just 7 tiles to do one bathroom, can't order more:D
as we normaly stock our porcel thin book match you can buy any numbered tile in mat or polished finish if one get broken the same day

If is hard to clean why failed?

Tile on to Isomat, Isomat stuck to Polypipe gypsum board direct, no latex.
First image far left, you can see mat stuck to board.
I said I want boards clean.
I do not know if they primed gypsum board before sticking mat.
Stuck with cement adhesive.

My bad,the tiles was ordered from Italy by Domus,no stock,so when we broke one we need order one more including package, delivery etc.And was 2400mm no 3000.

What I try to point out is if with normal tiles we ask 20-35% wastage for cuts, depend how big and intricate is the job,for big thin tiles we can't order more, especially if is book match. If we broke one is our fault and need to pay for,so when we quote must be aware of this situation and ask high price for cover this risk. When you have to manage big and thin tiles in small spaces is easy to damage the tile.Like insurance, higher on expensive car and low on cheap.
IMO the price for fit must be the cost of tile(dream:D)
