Hi Ferdon

If its a first floor shower and the client is not up to paying for the tanking he's not going to be too happy when water leaks through and statistically there's a fair chance it will dependant on usage. Tiles themselves cannot be guaranteed watertight even where epoxy grout is used. You could then price for remedial works!!!!!. The lads have a point with timber!!

To be sucessful;
1 secure plasterboard to provide a rigid and stable structure.
2 prime with primer G.
3 treat with Mapegum WPS to tank installation, use Mapeband at internal vertical corners and junction of wall and floor.
4 fix in Keraflex Maxi, and S1 classified flexible adhesive. Do not use tub adhesive
5 grout with Ulracolor Plus (26 colours)
6 fill internal corners and junction of floor and wall with Mapesil AC colour to match grout.

Best of luck whatever you use but above with good workmanship will give great result!!
