H hillhead Jun 17, 2008 #2 I find it a lot easier to tile the floor first,then use 6' level and draw vertical lines up wall from floor joint!!

S Spirit Jun 19, 2008 #8 I would set out both the walls and floor. The one that I would start on would depend on how the setting out worked and what type of tile I was using. With 600 x 600 porcelain, I would be more inclined to start with the floor.
