Buy the one flex by the van load, use it for everything, mega stuff. Back on topic tiles are pricey but excellent quality, love fitting them. Give them a bit of a nudge on the price in my experience they're not set in stone

If you get an account with them (which isn't too hard, business bank statement, invoice etc) the prices are very competetive. I go to Peterborough once a month and fill the van up, its worth the 80 mile round trip

Because my floor is concrete (new house build) the guy there told me I wouldnt need any floor prep or anything. I didnt trust that.

According to my Porcelanosa Account Manager, it is manufactured by BAL.
Either way, it is nice stuff though.

Nice tiles generally, use them quiet a lot when I'm down South, they're spec'ed on quiet a few sites.

Hmm, I'm not sure exactly I would have to find out. I would hazard a guess at around 4-6 months with the floor being down.

You will need to prep the floor first though with a suitable primer. Depending on the adhesive manufaturer will depend on the primer required.

In terms of adhesive? Id use Mapei if it was one of my jobs. Mapeker, keraquick or kerafloor may all be suitable if they are ceramics. Will need to prime the floor with Primer G or SP for those adhesives.

Would you 1st prime the floor, then lay a membrane/underlay on top ?

butech stuff is made by BAL and it is the same stuf as profix
