heard from the horses mouth that, they have reduced thickness on some of their ranges, so that their clay reserve will last enough 8 years, but yes I am finding bowing tiles, where they never ever used to be, and packaging is a joke, with boxes stuck together, someone in the factory has OCD with the seloptape :incazzato: ! and I found yesterday the Arizona range is sizey by 0.5 - 1mm on height, which don't help on a 2mm joint :mad2: but in general still the better tile out there.

Been using some very poor Imolas lately too. Hard to get something that isn't sizey these days to be honest, even from supposedly good brands. Made in Malaysia, boxed in Italy. :lol:

One of the best I've fitted for size wise is the Kito range from china.
Oh & the tiles down at Rays place, they were perfect..

I find that Chinese porcelain is usually spot on, give me it over Malaysia/Turkey/Hungary any day.

Absolutely. Some things can be a fraction of the cost to produce out there!! Look at hard drives etc for computers!

and if there production costs are low why are they charging people loads for there tiles!
