Porcs on concrete/slc, Topps advice.

I'm laying porcelain 'quarry' tiles (150x150x8) on to a concrete floor with Wickes High Performance slc over it.

Topps told me not to bother with flexi and said BAL rapidset would do fine as it's modified for porcelain anyway and I don't need flexi on this substrate. Is this correct? SLC is not latex as far as I know.

Thanks for your advice, its not too late to take it back and exchange for flexi!

Standard Bal rapid is more than fine, but with it being Porcelain id exchange for a single part flex.

Or go to another stockist rather than Topps or Wickes for whats needed Weber and Mapei do everything you need in there ranges also including SLC.
