Well this morning I started procedure to reclaim PPI on a loan and my mortgage on the basis that it was sold by informing me that without the PPI i would not be able to get either the mortgage or the loan.

So far it has just been a short call to the bank to register the complaint. Paperwork will now be sent out to me.

Jeez I would be happy with that , sadly I doubt i will get anywhere near but its a start.

it took for ever and a day but it helped to set up my new showroom

Well so far its been very easy. A phone call to the bank with the numbers of the loans or PPI and that's all. They sent the documents through yesterday and I was expecting to have to fill lots of forms in but No !...they are looking into it ...it could take a while though to get any more info....fingers crossed.

EVERYONE TAKE NOTE!!!!!

I applied to a PPI company to reclaim an large amount of money that i'd payed out for PPI.
The credit card people paid this company direct, not to me. I was not paid by said company and now they've gone bust, leaving me £1000's of pounds down!!!! It's all in the hands of the administrators, and because i signed on the dotted line it's tough titty on me basically.
If you sign for anything make sure YOU receive the money, not the guys representing you.
My parents and my sister have both received payouts, so they do work, but you have to be careful.

hi i got back over £6000 ,did it myself with a form from off martin lewis money man ,glad i did ,some take 30 - 40 % off you for doing it ,if you payed it get it back

It seems easy enough to do yourself ....so far ! . I wouldnt pay a company after reading all about it.

Yea if you can do it yourself go for it, this was a while ago whilst this was all in its early stages, no one knew you could do it yourself.
Oh well it's only money lots and lots of it, ripped off twice :mad2:

Nowt to do with ppi but the wife just got nearly £8000 paid off her credit card( full amount)you had to meet certain criteria and pay upfront( by the same card) but it just worked for her, a loophole somewhere somehow. Anyone want to know details PM me and i get the wife to get details from her office monday
