The priming requirements for ply vary according to your chosen adhesive manufacturer, however, in all cases you must seal (prime, bond) the reverse side and edges prior to laying the ply to reduce the possibility of moisture ingress to the board. For adhesives, if you are using BAL products, they stipulate NOT to prime. Ardex require you to use their P51 primer and Mapie, i'm not sure off the top of my head! :thumbsup:
