hey guys hope your well !! got a job come in to today ive been to see it

kitchen 9.6 m2
walkthrough 2 m2
conservatory 11.5 m2

Total 23.1 m2

all areas have tiles down and need lifting and floor base making good. The kitchen and conservatory are concrete and the walkthrough is timber floor boards so will have to be backer boarded

so im thinking £25-30 per m2 including addy and grout and two days labour to rip the old ones up and make good the floors plus the price of the backer boards so between £775 - £990

please let me know what you think guys many thanks in advance

About 1k for me don't forget a skip to get rid of all the old rubbish, that'll be £100 or so.

You never said what tiles you were laying, this can have a big bearing on price charged.....

shes not bought them yet but she likes large tiles ive just done 600x600 in a down stairs loo ! 6 full tiles and 3 cuts she said they wont be as big this time so im guessing 400x400

I meant are they stone, porcelain etc. Size, although relevant isn't as important for pricing as having to factor in flaking, grading, sealing and cutting of slate for instance. I wouldn't be laying slate for the prices you have mentioned as an example.

ok shes buying 400 x 400 ceramics so im hoping im on the right kind of money ive told her £775 so hopefully ill get the job i could do with it !!

Pricing is very area dependant (and i have no idea where kingswinford is) but i will say that if you can do the work effieciently ie timescale to earn yourself enough out of the job then go for it at £775.00.
hope you get the job.
