price for floors

what do you charge on average for a small bathroom floor say 5m, medium floor 10m and larger 15m floor(rough price charged for each floor), i know average prices for walls is around £20 per metre, but just wanted to know a rough guide for floors.

It all depends on what is on the floor in the first place.

Assuming there is nothing to cut around (like WC's, basins, kitchen units etc) then for small floors: 1/2 day rate. Medium - large floors: 20psm

This is just for normal ceramics and without the adhesives etc.

This also doesn't include any levelling or prep work you may need to do.

As much as I think I can get away with - Domestic - usually min £30 per metre including materials for ceramic - sliding scale upwards for Porcelain & Naturals.
Profiling round toilets etc extra.
Have done as low as £20 labour only for ceramic - for builders - large areas.

Best thing to do is work out your proposed cost per metre plus materials. Look at how many days it will take ? Compare this to your day rate plus materials - this will give you a better idea - price accordingly to get the wage you want after materials
