price for tile skirting(what you charge)

I don't normally ask about pricing,but i have a job which is restaurnt kitchen floor in quarrys and as usual give my m2 price for quarrys and a seperate lm price for skirting,now for the first time ever the builder is querying my price for skirting.

What would you guys normally charge?

Would depend on how long it would take me and charge accordingly.

Price by the day rate if you are unsure about the job. Then in future once you have more of an idea about a job you can price more accuratly

Hi charlie,your missing my point am not unsure about the job,am wondering why the builder is querying my price,the same i have given on jobs for the last 10 yrs i have contracted for him.

Thats why i was wondering what you guys charge.


P.s i dont do rate if i can help ,why earn £150-200 a day when you can earn that in a couple of hours if the job is alright.

Ohh right, sorry I missunderstood.

Ive never done quarries with the skirting so i wouldnt know, Sounds like the builder is trying to save some money.

never done quarries as skirting whilst working for myself,(did years and years ago lol)
only really ever done travertine and limestone in recent years.If i were to charge seperately to tiling the floor,i would want at least the same rate,more cutting involved
