Thanks everyone for the advise. I do have insurance to cover all the work needed. The two things I havent done are the UFH and hot water loop circulator? (schematics to be supplied). The customer has got someone who claims to be able to do it in 2 weeks for £1800:yikes:. I may bow out gracefully on this one as customer seems very fastidious and is emailing lists and lists of extras already. Im happy with the wetroom, tanking tiling and bathroom installation side of things its the customer Im feeling a bit uneasy about. I cant help thinking he will find a fault somewhere and not want to pay regardless how well I do it. Also being a one man band I didnt want to give a 2 week deadine as I wanted to take my time and deliver a perfect finish. It looked like a great oppotunity at first but now seems a bit suss. Am I being paranoid or should I trust my gut on this one?
it does seem a big job and if you're not 100% sure stay clear as you may get stung if you hit problems. and if you dont make your 2 week deadline he may have another reason/excuse not to pay you!

Slowly Learning

Just sent a polite email to the customer explaining I feel a more experienced company would be better suited to a wetroom project of this specification. I also would not be able to compete on the timescale required. You should see all the extra stuff he added on already, alcove to be put into walls, cupboards to be made into stud wall, its now a whirlpool bath and many many other things.
He knew ive only been in business for 7 months, another reason I was wary of why someone who wants a wetroom with all sorts of high end spec and gadgets wants to hand it over to someone ( who while confident in his ability and takes alot of pride in his work ) has only 7 months experience?

Oh well done it know. Im trying to get a good reputation and be honest in my approach so think Ive done the right thing. A job like that could have wiped me out if it had gone belly up. A lesson learnt methinks, get experience first conquer the world second!

Thanks again everyone.
