Primer after tanking Hardie Backer?

I’ve got Hardiebackers for my en suite walls and will be tanking them with BAL WP1.

Do I then need to apply a primer for the adhesive after tanking?

I’ll be using Mapei Keraflex S1 as my adhesive. Cheers.
