Special primer for wood though, not PVA. Definately.
were about in leeds are you based mattyhi
was working with a tiler yesterday(old school)
couple of things i need to question
1, he told me that you must prime plywood even exterior grade with the dreaded PVA before tiling i was told not to use pva in any tiling install as it breaks down with the moisture in the adhesive and i was told you dont have to prime plywood.
is this true?
2, He tiled and grouted in the same day the adh' was readymixed weber and only been on walls a couple of hours i was told leave it over night "he said you only leave it cos the tiles can move but thats the good thing about weber it holds the tiles well enough to grout in the same day"
is this true?
ok then but im doing a big job in seacroft and was just looking to see if a bit of work was any good to youSorry L&R thats classified as you may know the tiler.
