You could always try using one of these: broken link removed

I've tried the cardboard method and it works well but if you get yourself a flexible curve you can pretty much mould it to any shape and it keeps its shape!

If all else fails go on a quick plumbing/sanitation course and take the blinking thing out - gives a better finish too!!
