Profix flexible fast set adhesive

How thick can I go using Profix flexible fast set adhesive? Is 9mm ok? -that works out at about 10kg per sqm. It is to bed some Wedi board on a floor and I need to build up the level slightly, (around 3sqm floor area).

9mm is fine as most floors are laid usin a 10mm round notched trowel sometimes larger depending on the unevenness of the floor!

I used this a while ago on a very uneven floor with a 20mm notch and it was fine.

Has anyone used this Profix Fastset Flexible to any great extent??:huh2:

I'm looking to keep a bit in stock for everyday use but haven't used it before -like everyone has said the price is canny though :hurray:

It's performance on plywood overlays is of interest to me as well as how fast it sets :smilewinkgrin:

Any opinions - good or bad appreciated

I have 50m2 to tile starting Monday so i will let you know what i think of it.
If its anything like the other stuff they sell it wont be good news.

Its not bad but i wasnt using it on wood. cant say anything bad about it actually. It mixed well and felt right. It laste d longer in the bucket than my usual stuff which wasnt a problem yesterday and today. I was having to build up in places too. So all in all i would say its pretty good but that was on screed. Not so sure on wood.
