I agree 100%, you have to work hard and be motivated if you want to succeed at anything. But I also believe that you cant fully learn a trade in 2 or 4 weeks, but after reading lots of other posts over past weeks a course seems a good stepping stone to becoming a good tiler.
Anyway got myself booked onto the chase tiling course, and hopefully in few months I'll be able to pass on some useful advice to another newbie, like lots of you guys have.

Agree with all of the above, you never stop learning once you finish the course but its your dedication to learning that makes the difference between a good tiler and bad, building your job knowledge putting the hours in and selling yourself to the customer that you are the man for the job your skills together with customer care make all the difference. Its all about attitude, if you enjoy your work you will go far.
